Lots of workers have reported weird events happening caused by a ghost named Pinky.  Pinky is the Country Club’s mascot, and he was one of the most popular and capable caddies at Glen Oak.  One night a former manager was closing up the club, when she went upstairs all the doors were open.  No one really goes upstairs, and the doors are normally all kept closed.  When she looked down the hall, suddenly all the doors slammed shut at the same time.

The same manager also recalls one time where she was walking to the club from her car and happened to see a glowing figure between two oak trees.  When she looked again it had vanished.  Another worker was looking at a mirror behind a cabinet and saw a man resembling someone dressed formally from the early 20th century.  When she quickly looked back behind her it had already disappeared.

A ghost hunter went to investigate the location one time, recording with a video camera.  When he got home to review the tape he saw a shadow figure in one of the doorways upstairs.  He reports as saying you could see the figure stick an arm out before moving it back in.

Near the main entrance the club built a statue in honor of Pinky in 1929.  Does the spirit of the old Glen Oak country club haunt his statue?  Bordering Glen Oak is the East Branch Dupage river.  Water has an association with increased spirit activity.  There are also high rise electric wires nearby which is theorized to help fuel paranormal activity as well.
